Dún na nGall: a rock climbing guide

The County of Dún na nGall in the northwest of Ireland contains more climbable rock than the rest of Ireland combined, boasting two major Irish mountain ranges, over a thousand kilometres of coastline,over a dozen granite islands, a lifetime’s worth of sea stacks and as many diverse climbing mediums and locations as you will find in the rest of the country.

This 288 page guide, written by local guide Iain Miller, documents the best climbing on the region’s coasts, islands and mountains. The large format (210x170mm) means there is plenty of space for numerous detailed topos and lavish action photos. As well as up-to-date information on the climbs, there are a number of historical and contemporary essays.

This guide has been a labour of love, documenting Ireland’s best climbing area to the highest possible standard. There is no other Irish climbing guide like this.
