The Skellig Ring is a short driving (or cycling) route that is an extension of the Ring of Kerry, the world famous 180km touring route around the Iveragh Peninsula. The Skellig Ring is also part of the Wild Atlantic Way. The complete loop is 50km long and is best done over a day, stopping en route at some of the many points of interest.
If you are travelling the Ring of Kerry (it should be driven anti-clockwise to avoid getting stuck behind the tour buses) then it’s possible to take in the Skellig Ring.
